That Hatchling-grafittied Nexus door leads to here, and what looks like the outer door of one of the buildings in the Black Mage Village. Another door has been added next to this one to actually get to the inside of the building.

He can see something. Enough to make him watch her closely. :o

"...Nearly killed? He survived, didn't he?"

He pauses. "I don't like any of them, no..."

'Oh, yes,' she says, 'he did. But he was weakened. So she took him home, to our world. Our ship. He's in her bed.'

Tightly controlled. Very tightly controlled, stance loose, tone nearly conversational.

That's a strange thing to complain about.

"Ask her to move him somewhere else."

Not at all, to someone with a good sense of vulnerability and dangers that can't be solved by simply setting things on fire.

'Tried it. She refused. And if we force the issue, she'll take him to the Rook, and nobody can force her into anything there,' Vi paces, which is a lot more like "stalking". 'Bad enough she trusts him this much, but you've provided her opportunity for her to "nurse him back to health" and protect him.' Axel-love +god-only-knows. Thanks, Kuja. >.>

He hopes the mages aren't seeing this.

"...Is he inside the AV field, at least? So he won't destroy your home."

Blinking at the second statement. "Heal him quickly and let him leave. He doesn't need that."

Might not be the best.

'To our world,' she repeats, with a pretense of calm. 'Which he may be able to find his way back to.' And her lips thin. 'He's sleeping - regaining energy seems to be the trouble, not his injuries.'

"I didn't make her take him there." He looks away from her, bothered but not showing it much. "Find a way to convince her to let him sleep somewhere in the Nexus?"

She ignores that first for now. 'You don't know her very well, do you?' And she waves one hand back and forth. 'Don't answer that. I just wanted to know if you'd mistaken one Axel for the other, or if you had something else in mind.'

He answers anyway, irritated by that. "Not her young self."

"...I can't tell alternates apart." :/

He gets a moderately unimpressed look, but she declines further comment.

'Try to learn.' She's ready to go now, but she looks at him carefully. 'Are you her friend? Or are you just Axel's enemy?'

Not looking at her now~. "Both could be true."

Not the way she phrased it. '...However you handle your own business,' and she looks at him fully, 'you might keep in mind that she cares about them.'

He's looking towards the window, "...Alright." This might have been a mistake... but Axel deserved it, either way.

She hasn't looked away from him often - old habits are hard to break. She does turn her back, now. '...Rest well.' And she'll see herself out~.
